Nacho Estrada is a
ventriloquist, motivator and educational consultant. His
drop-out prevention, drug abuse presentation and environmental
programs have received wide acclaim throughout the U.S.A. and
Mexico. He has performed for more than a million children. He
has won numerous awards for his unusual and inspiring work.
Some
of the awards include: Texas State Teachers Association Human &
Civil Rights Award, and Alamo District XX Friend of Education
Award.
Recently the Washington Post published an article
concerning his abilities, along with the December 1993 issue of
the Smithsonian Magazine considering Nacho as the best in
Distant Voice Category.
He was honored with The 1994-1995
Literacy Award by the Alamo Reading Council and in July 1995 he
was voted “Ventriloquist of the Year”, at the International
Ventriloquist Convention held in Ft. Mitchel, Kentucky. |
